We had to make a pitstop during our travels from Iowa City, IA to Las Vegas, NV earlier this week because no single human can physically or legally drive a tour bus to do that shit straight through. SOOO we had to stop and when we did it turned out we were in beautiful, rustic Laramie, WY. I can’t say enough good things about Laramie. Myself and a coworker, Nick, took the free public shuttle downtown and visited some of the local stores, checked out the surprising amount of public street art, and went to the town’s oldest bar/former brothel, The Buckhorn Bar. The higher elevation (7165 ft above sea level, you guys) and two for one drink specials left us where you think it would and I ended up buying a really sick jean vest and a shaving a moustache.  We also found a train yard right at the edge of downtown and the workers had all gone home so we wandered around for awhile and here’s some pictures of our afternoon.
